Biography
Kokin Mikhail Aleksandrovich (also Kokine Mihail; 1921, Dnepropetrovsk - 2009) - an outstanding painter, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1976 he was awarded the title Honored Artist of the USSR, and in 2001 - People's Artist of Ukraine.
Works of M.A. Kokin are represented in art museums of Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Chernigov, Donetsk, Kamyanets-Podolsk, Nikolaev, Zhitomir, Sevastopol, Kherson, museum-reserve T.G. Shevchenko in Kaniv, private collections in Ukraine, France, Spain, Canada, USA.
