"Yin", from the conventional point of view, is traditionally passive, nocturnal.
Once again, I emphasize duality within duality.
To reflect on the lessons death brings to our lives. Perhaps this reflection teaches us how to live better.

With less ego, less attachment, less illusions.
Less attention to what distracts us from what really matters.
Less value to everything we will not take with us in this passage.

Death has no time to come, but it will come at the right time.
There is a time for everything.
The butterfly only comes out of the cocoon when it is ready to fly.
The process we fear so much is the same that will give us wings.
For other lives, for other Universes.

Marisa Melo is a female artist and photographer.  Much of her insertion in photography came through the cinema and some great painters (Salvador Dali, Rembrandt, Johannes Vermeer) who simulated in their paintings the natural light in an impressive way.

Her images are a crossroad, an intersection, where antagonistic elements are reconciled and complete: Impressionist root meets modern art, tropical Brazil combines with European urban elements, universal themes are portrayed from the individual, euphoria and introspection, sensuality, and spirituality.

Her trademark is the indefinite form, just suggested. Ethereal. No place for the explicit. The feelings expressed on the screens open multiple tracks where each one travels along a path that feels like his own. In her work, the highlight is the search for emotion, the capture of the look, the moment. The image that rescues the beauty, although hidden to the less attentive look.

Marisa Melo is born in 1969. She lives and works in São Paulo (Brazil). She graduated in advertising and marketing, fashion and photography. Her work is present in many private collections.
