With "Impermanence" project I want to contribute to the creation of an awareness about transience. Its acceptance can be liberating. As in the history of the emperor who asked his sages for an amulet to help him see the illusion of moments of euphoria and sadness. What they gave him was a sign where it was written "This will also pass."
We know everything passes. Yet, especially in the West, death is a taboo. You can’t even talk about it. The inconvenient reminder that even our lives come to an end is avoided. Who do we lie to? Who are we kidding?
Without denial and without escapism, what we need is to seek preparation for this process. After all, one day all of us will die. We look for an intense life. We only lack the courage to face the fact that this play has an epilogue, which should give meaning to what has come before and prepare the scenes of the next acts, in which we will be, once again, protagonists.
In the incessant quest for love, success, money and appearances, we run in circles at high speed. Till the moment when, suddenly, without warning, this merry-go-round is interrupted. And we are forced to an inner dive that makes us finally question our attachments and accept that everything passes. Even us.
And then? Is there anything after? What lies beyond the tunnel, the bridge, the farewell? In this project, I present life and death as faces of the same coin. With the conviction that there is a sequel to this plot.
And that we must realize that there is death in life and life in death. Yin and Yang.
Death in the various “selfs” we bury in our process of continuous transformation.
Life that goes on in other dimensions and in the memory of all who crossed our path.

The collection "Water (not just) for drinking", represents my gratitude to this element so necessary, so present and so vital.
In the "Canticle of the Creatures", St. Francis calls her "Sister Water, useful, humble, precious and pure."
Symbol of purity, she is with us at all times.
Along with the cry that announces our birth, she comes in the tears of joy from those who waited for our arrival. And so we begin our course by the river of life.
Along the way, she will always be with us, in her most varied manifestations.
In the cold solidity of the ice and the scorching steam, she reflects our moods, sometimes warm, sometimes glacial.
In dew, mist or cloud.
Hugging and wrapping in the form of rain.
With the violence of a storm or the delicacy of a drizzle, painting a gray lonely afternoon.
Drops of rain on the roof, cradling the warmth of our dreams.
Currents, waterfalls: like veils that open, revealing Nature.
Nourishing roots, caressing leaves. Bringing flowers, serving fruits.
Life for those who are thirsty.
Death for those who drown.
In sports, work and sex,
she is the sweat that drips from our forehead.
Until the day we complete our cycle and the river of life reaches the sea.
A huge, unknown sea, an ocean of mysteries and hope.
In a journey where our only compass will be the love we shared.
Once again, in the form of feeling, she will come in tears
of those who will carry us, forever, in their memories.
We return to the dust, but Sister Water is still present in those who are still alive.
In life, feelings, death.

Our memory works selectively. As time goes by, we forget and discard what was not good. So, the past becomes rosy, full of good moments and happy memories.
Retro illustrates this time, bringing fun, a lack of commitment to accuracy, the rebellion of pop-art.
Its colors portray the longing for a time we didn’t live. The idealization of a period forgotten in the past, undefined in the future, where all dreams come true and there’s always a happy end.

More than an ancient alphabet of Northern Europe, Runes make up a set of magical symbols, already used by the Vikings, by warriors, alchemists and fortune-tellers.
The connection with predictions and future was reinforced by Jules Verne's book, where a manuscript encoded in runes indicated the path to the "Journey to the Center of the Earth", which began in the descent of a volcano crater in Iceland.
Runes invite us to incredible journeys, from the Vikings arriving in the Americas to Saknussemm reaching the center of the Earth.
They challenge us to the greatest of travels: diving into ourselves.
Where all change begins,
Where all transformation happens,
Where every revolution is born.
