Il fait sa première exposition de groupe en 1960 et ses expositions personnelles sʼenchaînent en France et aux États Unis.
Raymond Poulet sʼest inspiré de ses voyages aux Etats-Unis, au Mexique et en Asie. Il a participé à des expositions sur tous les continents.
Raymond Poulet nous offre plus que de la figuration, il nous apporte une vision personnelle dans ses compositions usant de prismes et dʼobliques. Peintre de lʼamour et du voyage, ses oeuvres sont chargées de générosité et dʼhumanisme.
