Né en Août 1934 à Paris, Raymond Poulet est élève de lʼécole des Arts Décoratifs et des Beaux-Arts de Paris, il suit également les cours de différentes académies de peinture et de sculpture de Paris.
Il fait sa première exposition de groupe en 1960 et ses expositions personnelles sʼenchaînent en France et aux États Unis.
Raymond Poulet sʼest inspiré de ses voyages aux Etats-Unis, au Mexique et en Asie. Il a participé à des expositions sur tous les continents.
