Martin Langezaal Keramiek
From 1955 to 1960 I worked at the St.Willibrordus Foundation in Heiloo, where I followed the psychiatric nursing course, which I completed with a diploma.
From 1960 to 1969 I worked in the psychiatric institution Voorburg in Vught. During my stay there, a vacancy became available for a creative therapist, which I successfully applied for.
From 1969 to 1998 I worked as a creative therapist in the psychiatry department of the Academic Medical Center Rotterdam. During that period I also took evening courses at the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam and received ceramics lessons from Mr. Chair.
Now I enjoy my retirement and can spend my free time on new work. Especially people in general and sports in particular, as well as the playful animal world, have my interest and feed my inspiration.
I also worked for an architectural firm and made facing bricks and garden ceramics on commission. I exhibited in Vught, Schiedam, Zeist, Rotterdam, Bleiswijk, Berkel en Rodenrijs and Ouddorp, among others.
