Fabienne Soubrenie, versatile artist, was born in the heart of the Auvergne mountains, a place which greatly influenced her artistic journey. From a very young age, her mother introduced her to art through walks, visits to museums, decoration, and her love for old stones. This maternal heritage rooted in her a deep passion for artistic expression.
For her higher studies, Fabienne focused on architecture, carrying with her a sincere concern for environmental issues. It was during these studies that she had the opportunity to explore various art forms, including set design, photography, video, cinema, Chinese calligraphy, and even naval architecture.
Her artistic training also led her to try painting (graphite, pencil, wash, oil) and sculpture (earth, molding, plaster, patina, etc.) thanks to the Beaux-Arts workshops at Montparnasse. , followed in evening classes.
Alongside her artistic training, Fabienne also developed an interest in writing. She published and illustrated her first collection entitled “Reflections on Life”.
A key artistic encounter with sculptor Luigi Da Gioz opened the doors to the art of stone carving on Carrara marble, which she explored as Luigi's assistant.
In 2012, Fabienne made the decision to reveal to the world her interconnected vision of art, combining architecture, calligraphy, painting, photography, and research. She became a professional visual artist and quickly found her style, a fusion of nature and architecture imbued with symbolism.
