Biography
Elena Kraft is a contemporary German painter and sculptor, with international exposure. Having dedicated her entire life to dance, her artistic expression naturally revolves around the realm of dance art. The human body, known for its complexity and grace, serves as her primary subject matter in the majority of her works. Starting her artistic journey with charcoal pencils and pastels, she has now shifted her focus to working predominantly with acrylics, oils, resin, and clay. She embraces the opportunity to experiment with textures and a wide array of techniques in her creative process. Striving for vividness, she endeavors to make her artworks as vibrant as possible. In her later pieces, she delves deeper into the expression of her emotions by incorporating a spray technique, which adds an expressionist nuance as a backdrop to her figurative paintings and sculptures.
