Azul Iturri
Azul Iturri was born in Málaga, Spain, and moved to Argentina at a young age. She grew up in a family of plastic artists, with her parents serving as her first teachers in the craft. Azul studied Fine Arts at the National University of Córdoba while also attending the Carlos Peiteado Workshop.
Throughout her career, Azul has participated in numerous exhibitions and shows, both in Argentina and internationally. Notable exhibitions include "Romance Gaucho" at Enterprises Galleries in Victoria, Canada, in 1995 and 1996, the First National Biennial of Art in Buenos Aires in 1997, and the VII International Art Fair BA 98 at Praxis Gallery in Buenos Aires. Her work has also been showcased at the Teatro Real in Córdoba and at the Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires, where she participated in the III Avon Foundation Biennial Award in 2001.
In 2014, Azul opened her own painting workshop in Córdoba, which she continues to manage. Between 2015 and 2018, she explored realism under the guidance of Claudio Bogino. Azul's works are now part of various private collections and are exhibited in the Prado Goyart Gallery in Madrid, Spain.
