ACADEMIC TRAINING
He graduated in 1991 in Pedagogy in Biology and Sciences from the University of Arturo Prat in Iquique (Chile). His first contacts with artistic drawing and oil painting were carried out under the supervision of Alex Wittman and Alexiè Marinkovic. At the same time that he was beginning to learn about these new techniques, he quickly began to participate in various group and individual exhibitions in the cities of Iquique, Arica and Antofagasta (Chile). In 2000 he obtained the Universidad de Tarapacá prize at the First Regional Young Art Exhibition held in Arica (Chile) and in 2005 he was awarded the Postgraduate Scholarship from the Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos, for which he traveled to Spain to join the Chinchón Academy as a scholarship artist.

FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA
Se licencia en 1991 en Pedagogía en Biología y Ciencias por la Universidad de Arturo Prat en Iquique (Chile). Sus primeros contactos con el dibujo artístico y la pintura al óleo los lleva a cabo bajo la supervisión de Alex Wittman y Alexiè Marinkovic. Al mismo tiempo que empezaba a conocer estas nuevas técnicas comenzó rápidamente a participar en diversas exposiciones colectivas e individuales en las ciudades de Iquique, Arica y Antofagasta (Chile). En 2000 obtiene el premio Universidad de Tarapacá en el Primer Salón Regional de Arte Joven realizado en Arica (Chile) y en 2005 le es concedida la Beca de Postgrado de la Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos, por lo que viaja a España para integrarse a La Academia de Chinchón como artista becaria.
