Prof. Emy Ferjanc was born on October 9, 1917 in Vienna and died on August 28, 2010 in Vienna. She was an Austrian artist, painter, graphic artist and ceramicist. Her final resting place is in the Vienna Central Cemetery.
Emy's life was dedicated to art. She was married to Ferdinand Ebner. The entire artistic inheritance passed to her nephew, Mag. art. Martin Schantl, Vienna.
Her art is characterized by love, life and passion. Emy Ferjanc was born in the World War I and experienced World War II. This strengthened her freedom-loving nature as a person and artist.
She didn't want to be restricted in life or in art.
She masterfully combined different art styles in her works. Prof. Ferjanc's work and life is characterized by diversity.
