At the end of a group painting day at Hastings I caught some of the fishing boats hauled up on the beach. It was approaching sunset and this cast a beautiful rich blue hue across the almost silhouetted boats. I loved capturing the meandering slopes of the pebbles with a mixture of warm and cool colours.
