The painting “The last Generation” is a reminder of this fact (the dead bird, the fly on the globe, which is a symbol of death in painting, the sad girl) and it also alludes to a German organization which decided to strike hard at consciences because its members consider themselves to be the last generation before the shift towards critical warming. Their actions are questionable, but their fears are completely justified. You really need to wake up!
