Elena Belkova is a self-taught artist who began painting rather late in life and in a kind of a bang. Each day she faces new challenges and is in constant search, exploration, and mastering of different art techniques. Among the many trends she is currently studying is the fine art of Japanese Ink Painting. The ideal style she pursues should be not only novel and unique but also optimistic, sunny, and elevating spirits. And also close to Nature itself. For her art, decor and nature are fused together and are one. 

She has always been interested in classical and modern art but applied her skills only as an interior decorator and landscape designer. Home design and landscaping have been her lifelong passions so it was only a matter of time before the two evolved into the need to express herself in painting.

Previously she worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross, banking institutions, and an international trade company, and she is certainly not the first and not the last whose career has taken so drastic a change...
