New Zealand born Scotland based, I make and sell art every day. I’ve recently been really enjoying breaking down images into block layered colour. Exploring the layers that can be created with spraypaint; dusting, feathered fades, complete opacity and the vibrancy of fluorescent colours. With the printmakers being closed during lockdown I’ve found myself exploring stencilling to generate the finer detail I normally achieve with screen-printing a final layer. I love the ideas being surrounded by light, visions and perspectives, gateways and paths, personal manifestations, our shared social history and cognitive bias, and am starting to weave these into my one of pieces. I'm happy to explore collaborations with other artists or clients on bespoke pieces and commissions.
