The picture "The Guardian of the Magical City" depicts a fantastic city, which is an extension of a fairy's head.The fairy is its guardian and a part of the image of the city itself. In her left hand, the fairy is holding the sun, the source of life of the magical city.
The story uses elements of the "impossible worlds", i.e. images representing the impossible geometry of shapes.
The handmade wooden frame continues the picture story, alluding to it in several 3D elements and symbols depicted by the author.
The picture is made of wood in a complex composite technique, using oil, acrylic paint, gold pastes and greening lacquers.
