She began her art studies at the Stella Elkins School of Fine Arts at Temple University, Philadelphia. Wishing to take part in the exciting art work of New York City in the 1950's, at the Hofmann School she became a participant in the now historic post WW II art scene.

By the early 1970's she was ready for a change of venue and a new life and migrated to Israel two months before the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War in October 1973. During the 15 years that she lived in israel she worked in watercolor and serigraphy. Her work was exhibited at the Horace Richter Gallery in the newly restored ancient port of Jaffa which had become a thriving cultural attraction to visitors from all over the world. She also exhibited her work in Rehovot where she lived, at the Beit Ha Tarbout, one of Israel's many country-wide centers for music and the plastic arts.

On a visit to Mexico in 1986 she discovered the charm and beauty of San Miguel de Allende. She visits and paints there from time to time. She is represented ny the San Miguel Gallery and has had several exhibitions in several galleries including the Allende Instituto.
