Visulizing the Divine
I paint memories. Working on the new series the 'Orthodox Series'. I am aiming to paint, expressivily and abstractivly, the PRESENCE, memories of attending the Great Liturgy in the Greek Orthodox church. The sounds, smells and atmospher gathered together in two dimensions.
While my work is abstract in nature, they are nevertheless meditative with an visual impact to view with prayer, meditation and silence. The Presence of the Logos is my prime attempt at visulizing the divine.
