Nipote d'arte e laureata in architettura, Deta inizia a lavorare nel 2013 in Abruzzo come Visual Artist ma solo nell'estate 2018 ri-inizia a dipingere su cartone, fogli e materiale di riciclo con acquerello, pastelli e pennarelli, china ed inchiostro.
L'immaginario onirico di Deta è popolato da creature con lunghissimi colli, dalle sembianze per lo più femminili, tutte con gli occhi chiusi. Nei capelli, azzurri e blu mare, bamboline stilizzate con pesci ed imbarcazioni raccontano i flussi emotivi ed inconsci vicini alla generazione Y ed indagano su contraddittori della contemporaneità quali, ad esempio, il concetto di appartenenza e di flessibilità, la rinascita del principio femminile, la ricerca della realizzazione personale e l'amore post digitalizzazione.
