David Shepherd was born in Canada, where he graduated from the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto. He is a member of the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America and the National Oil and Acrylic Society and his work has been displayed in galleries in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and in notable shows across the U.S.
