Born in Russia, I grew up in Austria, live in Canada and Germany, and studied in the United Kingdom and the United States. I have been passionate about painting ever since, attending my first painting class at the young age of four.

My paintings grow on the soil of deep emotions, transformative experiences and profound insights on the meaning of human existence. The biggest pillar of my work is extensive Zen meditation, which fundamentally continues to change how I perceive and (non-)react to the material world. All paintings carry names that are key terms in Zen philosophy, revealing my thoughts and experiences behind every single painting. 

My paintings are colourful and meant to contribute to the stunning beauty around us, strenghtening our understanding of life and compassion towards all beings. Enjoy!
