Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

It's wise name is Hishiryo: Non-thinking, a key term in Zen Buddhism and the state of mind in Zazen, Zen meditation.
Hishiryo is a description of the state of our mind during Zazen. If a thought arises and we become aware of it, it disappears by itself. Especially when we sink into complicated thoughts and then become aware of them, these complicated thoughts are cut off.
In the state of Hishiryo, the external limitations by our busy mind are thrown off, and the human being, by being conscious and thus non-identifying with thoughts and feelings, returns to his original nature, the Self.
