A dragonfly is a symbol of lightness, grace, frivolity and speed. Sometimes, like a butterfly, it personifies immortality, rebirth, which also can be applied to our
feelings and their ability to recover. At first glance, the dragonfly in the picture isn't noticeable, you have to look for it very carefully! I would like the viewer to look at the artwork for a longer time, to examine it and to find this small detail - the dragonfly, because at first sight it may seem invisible to the eye, as all our attention is riveted by a bright yellow lotus. The lotus has many symbols, I'd rather not focus on it, let each viewer find something of their own in this artwork, and while looking at the mysterious flower, they can make a wish and may this wish come true!

Daria Ilyukhina, an artist. Was born in 1990 in Proletarsk, where she graduated with honors from art school. In 2007 she entered Rostov Institute of Architecture and Arts, the Faculty of Arts. In 2013 she graduated as an artist of decorative and applied arts (specialization - artist in textiles).      
After graduation, she worked as a sales assistant, decorator and florist. This experience has influenced the formation of her personality. Since 2015 she has been a practicing artist. In addition to painting, she paints walls, customizes clothes and shoes. Also she was a guest artist-customizer on Adidas Russia "CREATORSBASE" event, hosted a master class for Russian telecom company «Tele2 Russia» within the framework of the project "A house with different rules" and MEGA "Green Friday" event.In addition to this, she painted walls in one of the largest hotel companies Radisson Hotel Group.The publications with her works are presented in such journals as "Hi home", "Dog", "ELLE Decoration", «Ideas for your house» (@ivd ru).
