Daniele Fissore (Savigliano 1947) Inizia la sua carriera artistica come autodidatta. Compiuti gli studi classici frequenta per breve periodo l'Accademia di Belle Arti a Torino (1966), quindi lascia per qualche anno la pittura per dedicarsi all'approfondimento delle tecniche del disegno. Nel 1975 partecipa alla X Quadriennale di Roma e nel 1976 alla "Biennale del disegno di Milano". Una costante evoluzione dei primi temi pittorici indagati con un'analisi approfondita di forte ispirazione fotografica, lo porta alla figura umana e al ritratto. Nel 1980, Fissore si trasferisce a Londra, dove i suoi lavori convincono la critica inglese e gli valgono la concessione di uno studio londinese dal governo britannico.Tornato in Italia, intensifica l'attività espositiva, con l'allestimento di numerose mostre personali e collettive in varie Gallerie italiane, orientando le scelte pittoriche al tema del "Green". Nel 1993 presenta i dipinti sull'inedito tema del"Mare", attraverso i quali esplora e approfondisce gli aspetti emozionali ed immaginifici dei paesaggio, fino ad estraniarlo da sé stesso, per restituirlo in brani quasi astratti, con una trama di onde, luci, riflessi. E' morto nella sua città natale nel 2017.
