self-taught painter, I have been painting since the age of 20, I have tried my hand at techniques but since then, I have found the technique that I like and where I really have fun, an abstract, contemporary style... acrylic+fabrics+materials+papers+inscription+pastel+++what comes to mind......see my Blog:
painting has been for me since childhood a means of communication like speech or writing. Having tried all the techniques, oil, watercolor, pastel, ink. In recent years I have found the medium that suits my feelings, what I want to do, it is acrylic with which I sometimes mix inks, oil pastels. After conventional beginnings in a figurative style (landscape, still life) and a transition to impressionism which itself naturally led me to what I do now, symbolic abstract. Starting from a colorful palette, today it is restricted to some color including black, red, blue, white and a whole range of grays
every canvas has a code, a meaning more or less revealed by a letter, a word, a message, a color and also what is very important the material that I put on the canvas, fabrics, lace, embroidery, paper and sometimes chance guides my work
My painting only belongs to me during the action of painting, afterward it is the one who looks at it, feels it in their own way, who belongs to them....
