Author-photographers and visual artists, Dana and Stéphane Maitec have lived in Paris for more than fifteen years.

Stephane's talents as a scenographer, acquired at the School of Fine Arts in Bucharest, combine with the intense and intimate perception of Dana, entirely self-taught.

True creators of aesthetic photographs, they consider themselves above all as portraitists.
The couple captures the look and attitude of anonymous people or personalities from the artistic world, cinema, music, sport or politics.

With a strong interest in surrealist compositions, Dana and Stéphane know how to bring a new perspective to their subjects through a poetic prism and a cinematographic treatment, using the light of seventh art projectors like goldsmiths.

Independent photographers, they stretch their creative field between personal projects and institutional or private commissions.
