The New York-based watercolor artist Corey Ribotsky is an up-and-coming talent. New York and the North Atlantic's rugged shores are often depicted in Corey's watercolours. The intensity of colour he creates in the watercolour medium and his attention to subtleties of light make his work increasingly popular.

Corey earned his MFA from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. It is often clear from his paintings that he is passionate about color and fascinated by texture.  They are the result of intuition, feelings, and spirit.  Through many layers of glaze, he allows his paintings to grow and develop without carefully controlling them.

The aim of Corey's artwork is to delight the viewer's senses and bring them joy.  Colors and emotional quality are highly praised in his work.

Nine very successful exhibitions have been held by Corey Ribotsky since 2004. His paintings were displayed alongside the work of fellow west coast artists in a group exhibition organized by the Art Gallery of New York City. In the near future, he hopes to share new paintings.
