Ifig was born in 1966. He learned photography as a hobbyist from the age of 15 with his father, a passionate amateur. Literally magnetized by the legendary Kodachrome 25 film, he then left for Rochester, the birthplace of Kodak, like an initiatory pilgrimage.
His first photographic and sentimental emotions intertwine. His photos of Breton beaches, dark and shrouded in latent pessimism, are then a way of sublimating his disappointed hopes of love.
Ifig then begins his medical studies. But the photographic passion is still there, in ambush; it is expressed from time to time, especially after 2 years spent in Vietnam, like a click. Ifig definitely returns to photography in the 2000s.
His obsessions have not fundamentally changed, but women and beaches find themselves today in the same image, like a peaceful squaring of the circle...
