sculptor-painter, born in France in the department of Haute-Savoie. I had a childhood close to nature which had a lasting impact on my dreamy and contemplative nature. My taste for beauty led me to work in the field of art and this is how I worked for 4 years at the Editions d'art Albert Skira in Geneva (1963-1966). After starting a family, I felt a vital and imperative need to express myself. it was then that I started sculpture and particularly modelling, in evening classes. at the first contact with the earth, I knew immediately that this was my path. and have never stopped exploring this infinitely rich universe ever since. ceramics (2001) - raku (2003-2004 - glass paste (2005) - then, I tried painting, rather a material painting with new workshops - encaustic (2011) - acrylic wax (2013) - currently, I experiment acrylic - tar etc.
here is my website which will give you an overview of my work. www.colette-jotterand.ch
