Like most artists, I have been interested in artistic ventures from a young age. The
movement of life motivated me to write poems, stories, and numerous journals as a child.
As I grew older, I turned to painting as a medium for expression.

Thick, textured oil painting appeals to me in particular, as I love to seize the richness of a
world full of texture and feeling.

I enjoy painting the very little things in life that go unnoticed, but resonate a beauty all
their own. Painting is an opportunity for me to stop time and reflect on an event or
emotion.

I hope in all my pieces to seize the passion of one particular second in life, as these are
the seconds that pull all of life together.
