Christophe Sécher, artist photographer with an atypical background, has built his artistic path by following his own path, far from conventional routes.

As an autodidact, he explored the world of photography step by step, giving free rein to his curiosity and creativity. His first revelation, both emotional and technical, occurred in the bewitching atmosphere of a laboratory, where the images gradually revealed themselves under the light.

While remaining a contemplative observer, Christophe quickly focused his interest on shooting. Attracted by the diversity and inventiveness of nature, he devoted his first images to this vast subject. This is how color became the very foundation and central theme of his artistic exploration.

Over the course of his wanderings, he captured more and more singular images, marking his inclination for photography that was both pictorial and poetic. This evolution led him towards abstraction, opening up new ways of expression.

Today, Christophe's photographs aspire to represent an invisible reality, located beyond appearances and immediate perception. Each of his works is the fruit of a sort of call, of a fortuitous encounter. They do not seek to deliver explicit messages or to conform to a specific photographic current.

Guided by these inner calls, Christophe Sécher walks with an authenticity and spontaneity that mark each of his creations. His photographs reflect his own artistic journey, full of discovery, exploration and emotion.
