I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Chincoã (Jonathan Gomes da Silva)

I graduated in Civil Aviation at Anhembi Morumbi University. However, during the 2020 pandemic I rediscovered a once-forgotten vocation.

Since I was little I liked to draw and I already tried to charge for my drawings (replicas). Unsuccessful, obviously!

So I continued making my art inspired by my daily life and the people around me, imitating the smilinguidos (they are drawings of ants).

When I was 14 years old, when I started to practice Kung-Fu, the desire to know and know more about oriental culture made that one day anyone leafing through an encyclopedia came across the name Chincoã, which, because it sounded like an oriental name, I adopted it as a stage name. . Soon after I discovered that the name Chincoã, described as Alma de gato, is the name of a bird.

And at the same time I made my first drawing with a live model.

When I was 16, my mother enrolled me to study drawing at the art school in the city of Osasco, but because of annoyance with the teacher, I abandoned my studies and went to study Theater.

At the age of 18, I started studying viola at the IPA. And at the age of 21 I entered the Conservatory of Tatuí to study viola, but after a disastrous passage with the teacher and with the difficulties of staying in the city, I abandoned my studies and continued with music only as a hobby. Every now and then a Bach comes out.

Today I work as a relationship analyst in a technology company and I keep doing my art. If you are interested in an original abstract canvas, get in touch, it will be a pleasure to paint for you.
