Un jour pendant le promenade au bords de la fleuve La Loire j'ai vu un vieux corde laissé par un marinier. Un bout attaché à l'arbre et l'autre dans l'eau probablement pour attacher son bateau.

Richard Raveen Chester is a multifaceted artist. He developed a new form of printing using a digital technique and superimposing layers on heavy art paper. He specializes in contemporary simultaneous and continuous color printing. The artist reworks the print after the marouflage transfer onto heavy art paper to achieve the artistic effect.
His work is mainly inspired by his walks in the countryside and the sensations or feelings he experiences while doing them, and which he tries to share with the spectators of his works.
Richard Raveen Chester was born in 1954 in India. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Delhi University School of Art in 1976. He currently lives and works in Angers (France).
