If we get to know an artist directly descended from a master, Marcel Cerdan, world champion of boxing, who left an indelible mark, we would recognize the qualities which make these human been special.
Pascale Cerdan assumes very well the following contradiction : an hypersensitivity and a ferocious will to exercise her art with pugnacity. How to talk about Pascale's qualities without sycophancy? Simply by examining her journey.
Her desire to paint manifested itself at a young age, and her dad allowed her to start her first serious sketches by buying her first tools : canvas, easel, paint and brushes during a visit to Bordeaux.
And that's the start of her career that we hope will be long and recognized.
Her obstinacy manifests itself in the quest to search for the aesthetic that she wants to give to her artworks...moving from oil paint to acrylic with joy.
Her style developed slowly but surely as she describes it, it is an abstract narrative.
Pascale Cerdan expresses abstract art but offers her emotions to those who witness her creations. it is possible that her inspirations and masters, Chagall, Matisse and Picasso, had an influence on her work, in the details. The preferred colors are yellow which allows a passage to orange, and the blue for its luminosity.
Another emotion that Pascale reserves for us is the ability to white out a canvas almost finished at the moment where the inquisitive and discontented eye condemns the hand of the artist, to start again becomes a virtue. Inherent in this behavior is a small contradiction ; she proposes the beginning of a work and leaves us the choice to finish it virtually with our sensitivity.
There is her conception of art all the nobility of an artist who tells us :"I love this painting...let's share it!".
