Carlos Yasoshima born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1948. Graduated from the Faculty of Social Communication. He studied the discipline Art, City and Communication / Possible interventions in the area of Design, in the graduate program at FAU-USP; attended the discipline Image and New Media in the postgraduate program at the Institute of Arts/UNESP. São Paulo. He worked as an art director for the country's leading advertising agencies. Self-taught as a visual artist, he develops an artistic work participating in several individual and group shows in Brazil and abroad. In the early 70's he began his artistic work in a line of figurative expression. In 1980, he held a solo show at MASP / Museu de Arte de São Paulo and from that year until the present day he works in a lyrical / abstract language. Permanent work on the Japan-Liberdade Metro/Station in São Paulo. Since 2012 he has been teaching arts to young people with special needs at a school in São Paulo.
