Renouveau Photography by Carl Legault

Carl Legault is an artist whose passion for the arts was awakened at a very young age. He studied at a renowned American art school where he learned drawing and painting skills. Later, he continued his studies under the tutelage of a talented Spanish art teacher and immersed himself in the history of art in all its eras. He also learned the technique of photography in the era of film before going digital through numerous books on the history of photography and the art of photography.

Carl specializes in nature photography on all his subjects, but he is also an artist at heart who likes to go further and let his imagination run wild. His compositions are partly classical, inspired by the great masters of the Renaissance or famous illustrators. He also likes to have fun with color and light, like the Impressionists, and to capture the fleeting moment of the moment. Spirituality, aesthetics and artistic character are also of great importance in his journey and his achievements. For him, what captivates and excites him the most is setting off with his camera in hand, not knowing if the hunt will be good or bad. At the end of the day, surprises happen.
