I love reading about history, philosophy and just chatting about about art, music or anything interesting. I am originally from Denver, and I graduated from CU Boulder (International Affairs/Art) and now give private lessons to kids in my home that is also a gallery on First Fridays art walk. I love to paint and I try to promote any artists, musicians and poets to keep creating.

My art has evolved over the last seven years that I have been painting, transforming from reflecting my external environment to now expressing ideas from within. Because I also study culture and politics, I am interested in the social influence of images and their power in our thoughts. Images can both create and reflect identity of individuals, cultures, and humanity. Earlier this year, with influence from Joseph Campbell, I was illustrating religious mythology, primarily creation myths, to show the universal elements that appear in every culture and religion all across the globe. Through the visual illustration of myths, I am capturing a certain consciousness that is speaking to us all.
My most recent work is a series of abstractions that allude to the microscopic internal elements of the body, dealing with color and raw emotion. In this series color brings each piece to life, since every color has an energy that we associate with it. The freedom of abstract painting allows spontaneity to take over.
