Ricardo Cani

I was born in 1990 on the island, Florianópolis that stay in the state of Santa Catarina in southern of Brazil.

From the time I was a child I became interested in art.

In 2013, during a long treatment of health I found in the art of sculpting an inspiration to keep me strong. And today, I am a bachelor in law, but I dedicate myself entirely to the sculptures and work in my Atelier in São José / SC.

In 2017 I taught a sculpture course at a rehabilitation center for chemical dependents, a moment that further strengthened in me the importance of art for life.

I seek in my sculptures to reproduce human wisdom, projecting sculptures with strong expressions that life brings.

I also create sculptures with a tone of funny, to show for those who observes the form that I try to lead my life, joyful.

I study art in an autonomous way and I'm always trying to improve my techniques, today I dedicate myself exclusively to the art of sculpting.
