"What cool works you have, but no handwriting!"
What is handwriting? This is when you look at the author's work and immediately understand who it belongs to. If there is a handwriting, then you are definitely a cool creative artist. So it is considered.
In order for the handwriting to be needed:
To create something unique
"Drown" in this unique is a lot of work.
It is better to sincerely believe in what you are doing, otherwise it will be difficult to create a lot of work in this.
And what do I want to say here?
I have 95% of unique works in my portfolio - the result of my intellectual and creative work. Yes, I use trends. But I don't copy it. I have adapted each trend used for a unique job. And I could turn each of these works into my own author's style, if it would not contradict my nature. And my nature is such that I'm not interested in repeating it, it bores me, it doesn't inspire me.
All these years I have been inspired to raise the "level" of style in my works, I was interested in exploring the theme of taste, the theme of different materials - how to draw two lines and make it look cool in space, so that it attracts the eye and you don't understand why you want to look at "it"?
Plus, for me, this is a study not only of taste, but also of my own freedom.
Fortunately or unfortunately, at one point I began to focus on top Western artists - how do they allow themselves to do this and why can't I do it? And it was important for me to allow myself to break this pattern again and again, what it should be. And I don't know why it was so important. This is something that I could not and cannot not do until now.
And to everyone who cares about my handwriting, I added an example of it right at work. Specifically. No foreplay. Visually.
Aah... and here's another question - what does Nietzsche have to do with it. Well, this is also there. As one collector wrote to me: "Maria, you are so talented! But you need handwriting, you need to quote Nietzsche."
This is again about the fact that art is actually about freedom, but be kind enough to fit into the framework! In expectations, representations. It's very funny sometimes. To be a "sought-after" artist, sometimes it is enough to be comfortable. Keep your mouth closed, sigh languidly and sometimes quote Nietzsche. Mysterious. Deep.
Therefore, in order to "please" people's opinions about me, the first thing I did was to quote Nietzsche. First on the canvas itself, then in your post.
And, by the way, I am not at all against the author's handwriting, but when it is natural, and not sucked out of the finger.
