Ich bin aufgewachsen in Berlin . Als Kind habe ich gern gemalt, aber dann waren andere Dinge wichtiger. Erst als meine eigenen Kinder ein Stück gewachsen waren, habe ich beschlossen, mich in der Malerei ausbilden zu lassen. Besuche von Kunstschulen und auch der Internationalen Sommerakademie in Salzburg folgten.
Am liebsten male ich - nachdem ich fast alle Techniken ausprobiert habe - mit Acrylfarben. Motive finde ich in der Außenwelt oder in meinem Innern. Manchmal lasse ich mich von meinen Träumen anregen oder fantasiere drauflos. Rhythmik und Lebendigkeit sind mir in meinen Bildern wichtig. Landschaften stelle ich gern expressiv und abstrahiert dar . Den Hintergrund oder die Umgebung eines Motivs löse ich in teils kubistisch abstrahierten Form- und Farbspielen auf . Für Menschendarstellungen mache ich gern vor der Malerei Skizzen mit verschiedenen Stiften .
