Kamalapati was a tribal queen governing her empire. When she was attacked, she flown out to Bhopal. With help of Dost Khan she built a palace on bank of Chota Talab(lake).
This marvellous architectural piece built in red stone, on the east, the lake is called Chota Talab and on the west is Bada Talab.
