He attended the Académie Henri Goetz in Paris in the 1970s, then the Beaux-Arts de Saint Brieuc.

He works in a variety of techniques: drawing, dry pastels, oil, acrylic, watercolour, inks, collage..., and sometimes associates them with each other (mixed techniques).

He painted many figurative themes, sometimes close to hyper realism (in particular portraits and scenes of life in dry pastel) . He is now evolving towards a much freer painting, with very eclectic themes, sometimes reaching the limits of the abstract.

Indeed, the subjects ultimately have little importance, even if he favors in particular the portraits, life scenes, increasingly imaginary landscapes.

He often works in series, with a given medium. This allows him to give free rein to his intuition more easily, because it prevents him from working too long each time on the same painting, and bouncing from one to the other.

He tends more and more to let the painting build itself, letting the composition establish itself as the work continues.

Registered at the Maison des Artistes in Paris (D155301), he presented about fifty personal or collective exhibitions in France.
