I acquired the gift of art from my mom. As a child she painted my room creating Bambi's wood on the wall and so, the world of drawing came to my eyes for the first time. For me it was simple and natural, it was enough just to reproduce on paper what my child's eyes saw. Exactly as they saw. And always like my mum, all my creations always start with the eyes: the most human, deepest, most susceptible part of every person. Inside anyone's eyes, even the emptiest person, if you look deeply there is always something hidden. Pity is always hidden. My favorite works have always been female faces, in honor of the grace and kindness that distinguishes that magical sex. Over the course of my life I have developed various self-taught techniques, and since 2018 I have started using the drybrush technique, oil on paper. To date I deal with making portraits and works on commission and for private collections, performed in mixed techniques, mainly in black and white, in a realistic style. The touch of color? It is given by flowers. Real flowers, chosen according to personal attitudes. I love animals... that's why I don't eat them. But I eat them with my eyes and portray them on paper. I think art is mockery. If you try to ignore her, if you feel far from her, she is there, and with the silk thread with which she holds you, winding it up, she brings you closer to her. It is somewhat ruthless. And like any lover who rejects himself, there is no moment more sensual and attractive than the moment she makes you her own. You have to love art and that's it. And I completely surrendered to her.
