Sandrine Plumard is a contemporary French sculptor. She is a figurative sculptor who works in metal. She works with new iron on occasion, but most of the time she uses old pieces. Even after transformation, she feels that the old iron pieces have a past. It's fascinating to breathe fresh life into this long-forgotten material, to change it so that it may be resurrected. Iron appears cold and unyielding at first glance, but when worked, it takes on a softer appearance.

Her inspiration comes from nature, and the peace it brings is conducive to creativity. That is something she enjoys re-creating in her sculptures.

Sandrine Plumard was born in 1983, in France. She exhibited her works nationally.
