After training as a decorator and then in interior architecture, I spent two years assisting a set designer in the design and creation of sets intended for fashion photography .
Working in this environment made me want to try photography for myself. This was a real revelation for me.
For more than 10 years now my conception of photography, what I wish to transcribe is the loss of reference points. Through blurring, framing, repetition of patterns, and play of light, I seek to lose the viewer in the photographed subject. Through my sensitivity to architecture I look for plays of lines, perspectives, symmetries, repeating elements, material effects.
Whether it is a landscape, a building or any other subject, I see above all geometric pieces that I try to assemble using my choice of framing and lighting.
