Dädou, whose real name is David Journo, was born on August 10, 1972 in Paris (France). His artistic pseudonym was given to him by his grandmother when he was a child. It was on the benches of the school in preparatory course that his passion for drawing began. Inspired by the Grendizer drawings of a Laotian classmate, Dädou began to reproduce the drawings that appealed to him for their beauty and originality, thus sharpening his technical acumen and artistic sensibility. At the age of 17, Dädou made his first creations after a trip to Indonesia, drawing inspiration from Indonesian drawings to create primitives. With his passion, Dädou draws most often during his travels around the world.

In 2003, in Nice, Dädou embarked on portraiture and produced caricatural-type drawings on a blue background, then expressed himself more and more through geometric shapes, drawing round heads on the people he painted over meetings. From there is born the paw of Dädou: the realization of scenes of life. Supported by many of his friends, Dädou decided to exhibit his creations in 2004 at 59 rue de Rivoli in Paris. The work put at the center of the exhibition by Dädou, entitled "Madness invades us", symbolizes well the personality and the style of the artist. During these ten days of exhibition, Dädou realizes the portraits of those who express the wish and, thanks to the money of his sales, he offers himself a beautiful collection of paintings and a sculpture of the other artists exhibiting alongside him at the 59.

This experience, very encouraging and formative, allowed Dädou to gain confidence in himself and in his art, thus confirming his style. Since then, Dädou has reproduced scenes of life with passion, and immortalized memories, magical, happy and precious moments, so that his customers can keep them and display them at home, in the very heart of their place of life, the first source of inspired by Dädou. In addition to his spontaneous creations, Dädou makes requests for personalized paintings, from a moment of life that you want to fix, or a photograph that you want to highlight, on paper with pencils and acrylic. , or on canvas.
