С начала своей творческой деятельности Овчинников Влад , русский художник,пишет Русь-в самом широком понимании слова.Это и великолепные пейзажи окрестностей города,философские натюрморты,на которых изображены предметы Русского быта или часто эстетические атрибуты соседствуют с идеологическими символами.В каждой работе и то,что называют настроением,и особенности состояния природы и жанровый подтекст.Например,на картине "Мелодия" из серии "Русь" грустный мотив создают и необычное движение накренившихся домиков вслед за линией пригорка,и облака,и наконец гармониста.Но посмотрев на новый и крепкий дом веришь,что ни смотря ни на что всё будет хорошо,жизнь продолжается. Городские пейзажи Влада тоже особенные.Портреты живые "одушевлённые".(Его творчество наиболее полно представлено за рубежом).Стоишь перед картинами художника и понимаешь почему работы "старых" мастеров так ценятся.Влад поведал историю о том,как он ездил в Пушкинский музей в Москве.Остановился у работы Ван Гога и долго перед ней стоял.От картины шла какая-то завораживающая энергия...
