The scene is taken from the film MASH by Robert Altman (1970). During the Korean War, in the fall of 1951, a nurse was newly promoted to 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH), a field hospital of the United States Army. The painting shows her arrival at the camp in a Bell 47 helicopter. Her nickname came from comments made during her sexual intercourse "Franck, kiss my lips on fire!" and distributed without her consent throughout the camp. They will earn her the nickname "Hot lips".
