Delightful companion (2023) Painting by Anne Salz

Painting brings me variety of experiences. It is a way of inner reflection. It is also an intellectual exercise of learning how colour interact and applying that knowledge. Painting is a continuous process, which takes place not only with a brush in my hands, but equally when I observe the myriad of my surroundings. Painting is a spiritual expression of a combination of observations and moods.

This is why I like to paint abstractions. Colours are all that matter. Shapes are only means which allow the colours to interact with each other.

I have painted for many decades with the aim to explore and to grow. Not to sell my work. For long time I found it not easy to sell my work as it is part of myself and my artistic and personal being. I have joined Artmajeur as a way to communicate my work to others.
