Original Artwork

Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

My process :
STEP 1 : I take pictures of all that looks beautiful to me : graffitis, colorful walls, shabby buildings, rusted doors, layers of advertising posters faded by the rain.
STEP 2 : then, I "capture" small pieces of these photos and I assemble them to create very contemporary colorful landscapes
STEP 3 : these landscapes are printed under acrylic glass with a 3mm solid aluminium backing.

Mon procédé :
Etape 1 : je prends des photos de ce qui est beau à mes yeux : tags, graffitis, murs de colorés, bâtiments en ruine, vieilles portes rouillées, amas d'affiches publicitaires délavées par la pluie et le soleil etc...
Etape 2 : je capture ensuite des fragments de ces photos et je les assemble numériquement pour en faire des tableaux colorés ultra contemporains.
Etape 3 : le rendu est imprimé sur papier photo et collé sous une plaque de PLEXI 2 ou 4 mm, contrecollée sur plaque d'ALU DIBOND 3mm - qualité galerie - système de fixation inclus
